Stanford Moonshot Club

We drive inclusive tinkering by providing students with a collaborative environment, mentorship, and resources to get their dream engineering-related projects—or Moonshots—off the ground. We also inspire and educate the community through speaker events and educational workshops.

Stanford Student Space Initiative

The Stanford Student Space Initiative (Stanford SSI) is Stanford's largest project-based student group, with more than 300 members split into six project teams: Rockets, Satellites, Balloons, Mars, Biology, and Policy. We are a completely student-run organization founded in 2013 with the mission of giving future leaders of the space industry the hands-on experience and broader insight they need to realize the next era of space development.

Stanford Solar Car Project

Founded in 1989, the Stanford Solar Car Project is an entirely student-run, non-profit organization fueled by its members’ passion for environmentally sustainable technology. We provide a unique opportunity for Stanford students to gain valuable hands-on engineering and business experience while raising community awareness of clean energy vehicles. Every two years, the team designs, builds and races a solar car in an international race event- planning this cycle to compete in the SASOL Solar Car Challenge.

Stanford Fashion X

Stanford FashionX aims to usher in the next wave of innovators, creatives and activists within the fashion industry. Those who challenge tradition, initiate progress, and solve fashion's looming questions. We are the first preprofessional organization at Stanford for those interested in the fashion industry. We tackle all of its facets: business, sustainability, marketing, design, tech, and more.

Flight Club

Flight club is the space for everything aerospace and aviation on campus. From licensed pilots, AA majors, hobbyists, and just people looking to try something new, Flight Club has a project for you!

BIOME

Our mission is to provide any Stanford student with the skills, resources, and support to engage in a bio-hacking project. Bio-hacking includes any project that utilizes biological materials. We seek to educate our membership and the broader public and strive to broaden the scope of biotechnology beyond the conventional definition.

Stanford Student Robotics

We are Stanford Student Robotics, an entirely student-run group dedicated to building cool robots and learning new things.

Stanford Ceramics Club

We are a student-run organization at Stanford University offering studio membership and classes to the Stanford community.
