Stanford's making@stanford Independent Study Student Grant Pilot Program is reshaping student engagement with independent study. This initiative offers up to $300 per quarter-long project, catering to both undergraduate and graduate students. Unlike traditional grants that can be overly competitive and restricted to undergraduates, this program provides a streamlined and predictable funding process. This funding focuses on projects led by students, closely mentored by teaching staff.
